trade show showcases new small businesses
within Renfrew County to increase
knowledge of new places to buy locally.
Target
Audience
People looking to
know "Who is New!", people
looking to start a new business,
and businesses (likely small) looking
to grow to the next level.

June 27 from 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
at the Renfrew Armouries.
The
cost is only $75 for new business
owners to participate and includes:

"How
to Present Your Business at a Trade
Show"
As
part of the program, you are invited
to attend a half-day workshop to
help you develop your booth.
This
workshop will be held at Renfrew’s
Ma-Te-Way Activity Center, on Thursday,
May 15 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
Topics
covered at the workshop will include
the following:
- Pre-marketing:
How to generate your own clientele
interest in attending (myFM)
- Presenting
yourself and approaching trade
show visitors (Toastmasters)
- Marketing:
Preparing memorable print marketing
materials
- Cost-effective
solutions for preparing a dynamic
trade show booth
- Trade
show Expectations and Etiquette
(RCCFDC)
Cost
to non-exhibitors will be $10 for
the workshop. Participants will
be given a quantity of brochures
to give out to promote their businesses
attendance at the show.
