KD Agri-Graphics

“There’s been a lot of trial and error” she said. “It’s a never-ending learning experience”.
Kaylia Doering
Cobden

Kaylia Doering has a pattern for success! This 16 year old Cobden student learnt the benefits of operating her own business through the Summer Company program.

It was her hobby - sewing that lead to KD Agri-Graphics a manufacturing/retail embroidery business. Targeting the agricultural market in her rural community, Kaylia embroidered shirts, coats and canvas bags and hopes to expand to hats in the future.

“There’s been a lot of trial and error” she said. “It’s a never-ending learning experience”.
Kaylia learnt the necessary business skills and how to manage money while doing books and running her business with the support of her mentors and program administrators.
