Felicity is offering a musical day camp to children 10 years of age and up who will have the opportunity to choose lessons in bass, guitar or drums. At the end of the summer the students will show off their new musical skills to the community of Barry’s Bay by performing an outdoor concert. Summer School of Rock is a music-based summer camp for kids ages 10 and up that are interested in music. It is a hands-on learning environment for kids (teens too) to pursue their interests in music, whether they have experience or not.

The kids will get to choose what instrument they want to play (bass, guitar, drums, or vocals) and get to select their own repertoire. At the end of the camp (if they sign up for 4 weeks) they will get to put on a concert for parents, friends, and the rest of the community.

If the child has their own instrument, they are encouraged to bring it. If they don’t have an instrument available to them, I will provide it.

There will be music lesson sessions as well as music and artist appreciation sessions. Other activities will include summer outdoor activities and other musical activities such as rhythm exercises.
