Sarah Robertson has recently opened Prior Engagements, Party & Event Rentals located in Arnprior, Ontario. Sarah has embarked on a new business to service Renfrew County, West Carleton and the Ottawa Valley in the Party and Event Rental market

Sarah is no stranger to small business in the Ottawa Valley: she studied for a Business degree at the School of Hotel & Food Administration, University of Guelph in the early ‘90’s.  Since then, she has spent nineteen years in the event industry, partnering in 1990 to open J.R.’s Restaurant & the Downstairs Pub in Almonte.

The catering division of J.R.’s became a focal point for Sarah.  Over the years she has been an integral part of planning hundreds of weddings, fundraising galas, intimate home parties, and many other successful and fun events.  The evolution to Event and Party Rentals is a natural fit for Sarah.  Her knowledge of what needs to happen ‘logistically’ to make an occasion a success, working with her clients expectations, and years of practical experience, give Sarah the ability to recommend great rental fits for individuals event plans and budgets.

Renting is a great solution to fulfilling your party requirements. If you are planning a wedding, anniversary party, corporate function, fundraiser, grand opening or a back yard barbeque, we can help!

We rent tents, tables, chairs, china, glassware, linens, chair covers, bbq’s, décor and anything in between, whether you require a few items or many, we have it!  If you are new to planning, newly engaged and need some advice/guidance, Prior Engagements will work with you to establish your needs, impress your guests and create lasting memories.

Located just off Highway 17 in Arnprior, our 900 sq ft showroom offers you a glimpse of what is available.  To assist you with your planning, or to get a ‘visual’ on what your event can look like, our tables are set to ‘mimic’ different set ups.
