Pick-it-Fence is an exceptional gift store located in the Pembroke Mall, in Pembroke, Ontario. Residents from Pembroke, Petawawa and  through-out the Ottawa Valley come to Pick-it-Fence to purchase gifts for someone special or to treat themselves with something unique to decorate their homes.

Pick-it-Fence’s products include: candles, quilts, kitchen supplies, wreaths, prints, lamps, picture frames, jewelry, purses and much more! Some of their product lines include: Wall Talk, Gourmet du Village, Beanpod Candles, Lug, and Espe Purses.

Pick-it-Fence is well known for having unique décor items and having gifts pre-wrapped in order to make gift giving easier.

Emma Leavey has recently purchased the Pick-it-Fence in Pembroke from Sylvie and Matthew Neville.

The Neville’s have owned Pick-it-Fence for about 15 years. They have had stores in Arnprior, Renfrew, and Pembroke throughout the years. They currently have one store in downtown Renfrew and they have proudly sold the Pembroke location to Emma Leavey.

Emma has graduated from the Business program at Algonquin College in the Ottawa Valley. She has a strong passion for business and has always dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur.

In 2008 Emma had entered the Ontario Secondary School Business Plan Competition with her own business plan based on a personal shopping service. She placed first in Renfrew County and then placed second runner-up in the Eastern Region of Ontario.

Emma has worked for the Neville’s at Pick-it-Fence for almost 5 years. She has always loved working at the store and she is very honoured to carry on the Neville’s business for them.

Emma will continue to make gift giving easier for customers and to use her innovative thinking in order to continue to make Pick-it-Fence "the place" to shop for everyone’s gift and home décor needs.
