IMPORTING "STEP BY STEP" FOR ENTREPRENEURS AND SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZE ENTERPRISES

Course Description:

This seminar has been created with the intent of clarifying the commercial process for importing goods into Canada. The seminar is designed to assist individuals by providing them with information on the rules and regulations administered by the Canada Border Services Agency.

The seminar will cover the following steps of the customs process for importing:

• Registering your business for an import/export number;
• Identify restricted, prohibited, or regulated goods;
• Learn about Other Government Departments regulations;
• Determining the applicable duty rates; and
• Payment of duties and taxes applicable.
