At W O Stinson and Sons Customer Service is Important
John Armstrong, General Manager of W O Stinson and Sons knew that his staff team was doing a good job in terms of customer service. However he saw an opportunity to take that service to another level. As John explains, “The more tools we can give our staff so that they can be even better at what they do the better they feel about themselves and that changes the way they approach the challenges that come with providing front line customer service. In the end everyone wins especially our customers.”
W O Stinson recently took advantage of the partnership between Enterprise Renfrew County, The Buy Local Committee and The Delfi Group. This partnership makes front line customer service training available and affordable for Ottawa Valley businesses and organizations. On April 18th half of W O Stinson Pembroke staff took the customer service training from Delfi Group Associates MC Lessard and Chris Hinsperger and the other half will take the same program on May 23rd. MC Lessard was very pleased with the April 18th training, “This group of staff was a pleasure to work with. The enthusiasm they showed in developing new skills and the loyalty they displayed to their company is a recipe for success in delivering front line customer service.”
Pembroke manager, Jason Wojcik who knows all too well the challenges his staff face in the delivery of their products and services states “When our staff do their jobs well they get good feedback from happy customers which adds to the overall mood of our workplace. Who doesn’t want to work where people are happy?”
Plans are under way to implement this training in W O Stinson’s sites in Arnprior, Kemptville and Ottawa.
